Gestpay protects the transactions and the payment card data, because it is being compliant with all the main existing security systems.
TLS (Transport Layer Security) is a cryptographic protocol for the online data transfer security that allows a highest security level during the transactions, also due to the fact that Gestpay uses version 1.2 or higher.
The PCI Standard (Payment Card Industry) DSS (Data Security Standard) is a set of features designed to grant the security of the data of the debit and credit cardholders, developed by the founding members of the PCI Security Standard Council, including American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB, Mastercard Worldwide and Visa international. Gestpay is compliant with the most recent version of this standard, PCI-DSS 3.2.
3D Secure is the antifraud protection system that grants a further protective measure for online purchases and allows Gestpay to validate transactions. This security protocol matches your client’s card with a personal secret password that will be asked, typically by sms, to authenticate the payment. So you will always be sure that the payment is performed by the authorized cardholder.
Gestpay allows you to set some countermeasures to deploy in case of suspect activities, such as very high amount transactions or frequent transactions in a limited timeframe. As one of these events takes place, you can choose whether to receive an alert, in order to check directly, or to set the system to decline the transaction automatically.
Gestpay offers a further fraud prevention end-to-end security solution: Gestpay Guaranteed Payment. A powerful AI system determines if a transaction is fraudulent and, in the case it does not detects the fraud, refunds you the whole order amount.
